Maureen Banchero Longyear is the Vice President for Advancement of Jesuit High School. She is responsible for designing, directing and evaluating all advancement strategies to address the annual operations, long-term capital and endowment needs.
Mrs. Longyear is a native of Sacramento where she attended Loretto High School before attending Santa Clara University. Maureen transferred to the University of California, Berkeley and was awarded her Bachelor of Science in marketing from the Haas School of Business. After pursuing a successful career in media sales, Mrs. Longyear “retired” to raise three children, John ’99, Michael ’01 and Kate (Loretto High ’06). In 2003 and 2004 Mrs. Longyear co-chaired the Jesuit Auction as a volunteer and accepted a position in Development. In 2006 she was named Director of Development and was promoted to the Vice President for Advancement in 2012.
As Vice President for Development at Jesuit High School, Marshall Sperbeck has responsibilities for Jesuit’s relationship to its nearly 9,700 alumni of the high school. He also works closely with the athletic and activities directors of Jesuit High School and with the Jesuit Boosters Club, a parent volunteer organization which support extra-curricular student activities at Jesuit.
A native of Sacramento, Sperbeck graduated from Valley High School. He later played at the University of Nevada from 1981-82 and led the team to a pair of winning seasons while throwing for 3,425 yards. Sperbeck earned a bachelor’s of science degree in physical education from Nevada in 1984 and later added a master’s of education from United States International in 1989.
Marshall and his wife, Kelle, have three children: Brooke, Thomas ‘13 and Ally.
