Campus Ministry’s primary concern is to prepare each young man for life, leading him to become a faith-filled and value-centered person, within the model of Jesus Christ, centered in our Roman Catholic heritage, and in the tradition of Ignatius of Loyola. All of the religious activities at Jesuit are designed to respect each person’s religious tradition.
Campus Ministry dedicates itself to the task of bringing out in each person those spiritual gifts which lead people towards deeper love of self, others, and God in the building of God’s Kingdom.
Finding God in all things
Listening with a discerning heart.
Living for “the Greater Glory of God”
Campus Ministry Team
The Campus Ministry Team, along with Christian Service, and Theology helps facilitate the Spiritual/Religious tenant of Ignatian Education. All faculty/staff members are seen as campus ministers in all they do with and for the young men at Jesuit High School. If you have questions or special prayer requests, please call us at 482-6060.
Current Jesuit students and their moms, step-moms and grandmothers are invited to join us for this lovely morning together. Mass will be held in the Barry Gym beginning at 9:30 a.m. Photographers will be available in the Band Room of the Harris Center from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m., and again from 10:30-11:00 a.m. (there is a fee for photo package). A complimentary reception with coffee and light refreshments will be provided in the Harris Center following Mass. We encourage moms and sons to spend the morning together.
Parents and students are reminded that Jesuit High School will celebrate the Feast of All Saints with a Mass on November 1, 2017, at 9:35 a.m., in the Gym. Students should be in dress attire. Parents are welcome to attend.
Several times during the school year the Jesuit High School Community gathers in prayer and worship. These liturgies and prayer services are centered on a particular religious or social concern and are planned by the Liturgy Committee. Jesuit offers Reconciliation Services once a semester for students. All are welcomed to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, or, if not Catholic, receive a blessing. Fall Reconciliation services will be held December 12 and 13. Lenten Services will be held March 27 and 28.
