Initially, Choir was just another class that I could earn an easy A. During my Freshman year, I stood in the back and just participated. I think the real turning point in my involvement in Jesuit’s Choir was my Sophomore year, when I decided to take on a solo in Concert Choir’s Spring concert. My main concern was my nerves, specifically stage fright. I was never someone who wanted to stand out because I feared failure and thought would feel completely embarrassed.
