This course is specifically designed for Jesuit High students who are advancing to Algebra II HONORS. In addition to Euclidean plane geometry and geometric figures, the course provides extensive theoretical consideration for the use of formal logic in proofs as well as problem solving. Trigonometry and its applications are introduced to enable the transition in to Algebra II Honors the next academic year. This placement requires the recommendation of your current Algebra teacher and the approval of your counselor and the Director of Scheduling.
Pre-requisite: Sophomore standing in the Fall. Jesuit students must obtain prior department approval
