Daniel Carmazzi
Assistant Athletics Director, Social Studies, Physical Education, Head Football Coach, Drivers Training
After graduating from UC Davis with a double major in history and political science, Mr. Carmazzi worked in state government for 2 years. He began his teaching and coaching career at Jesuit in 1977; he has taught World History, American History and Government in the department. For the last 23 years, he has taught AP U.S. Government for seniors. His students have regularly achieved a 90% or higher pass rate on the AP exam. Currently, he is also teaching U.S. Government for seniors. His government classes place a strong emphasis on discussion of current events at the state, national and international level.
Mr. Carmazzi has taught Driver Training at Jesuit with Ross Evans for the last 7 years; he previously taught driver training in the Elk Grove School District. He is available for behind the wheel instruction year round. Go to the Drivers Education link for more information about driver training.
