Julian Climaco, S.J.

Julian Climaco, S.J. entered the Society of Jesus in 2004 and is currently in his third year of teaching theology and choral music at Jesuit High School. A classically trained pianist and vocalist, Julian has served as music director, pianist, and chorister for several music ensembles in the Greater Los Angeles Area, San Francisco, and New York City. Ensembles have included Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral Choir under the direction of Frank Brownstead, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Esa-Pekka Salonen and Paul Salamunovich and the New York Festival Orchestra in Carnegie Hall under the direction of David Holcenberg. Julian holds B.A. degrees in philosophy and music from Fordham University and has studied choral conducting at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey.
