Maureen Longyear is the Director of Development of Jesuit High School.  She is responsible for designing, directing and evaluating all fundraising efforts for the school.  As Director, Maureen manages the Office of Development that is responsible for developing and executing advancement strategies to address the annual operations, long-term capital and endowment needs, and which coordinates or produces all fundraising events.

Mrs. Longyear is a native of Sacramento where she attended Loretto High School before attending Santa Clara University.  Maureen transferred to the University of California, Berkeley and was awarded her Bachelor of Science in marketing from the Haas School of Business.  After pursuing a successful career in media sales, Mrs. Longyear “retired” to raise three children, John ’99, Michael ’01 and Kate (Loretto High ’06).  In 2003 and 2004 Mrs. Longyear co-chaired the Jesuit Auction as a volunteer and accepted a position in Development.  In 2006 she was named Director.
