In the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis, caring for the whole person, the Counseling Department at Jesuit High School has grown to include a Wellness Counselor on campus. 

Kasey Cardinale, MFT, is Jesuit High School’s Wellness Counselor. This role is intended to support the work of the counseling center on campus. Kasey is an alumna of St. Francis High School, Sacramento, she completed her BA in English from the University of San Diego, and received her MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Licensed since 2010, Kasey advocated for the start of the wellness program at St. Francis High School (2008-2012) and then moved to a more clinical role at Eating Recovery Center of California, Sacramento (2013-2018), doing family work and psychoeducation. Kasey believes strongly that it is important that school is a place that feels safe, and where asking for help is strongly affirmed.
