Dedicated time for support, growth, and connection
At Jesuit High School, learning extends beyond the classroom. Our faculty are committed to being accessible, supportive, and actively engaged in each student's academic journey. Just as students will experience in college, many teachers maintain regular office hours and are available to provide additional guidance, answer questions, and support individual learning needs.
To make this possible, Jesuit includes a dedicated Community Period within the school schedule. Generally held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:50 to 3:00 p.m., Community Period provides flexible time for students to connect with teachers, attend office hours, meet with academic support programs, collaborate on projects, make up assessments, participate in enrichment opportunities, and engage in a variety of campus programming.
This intentional time reflects our commitment to cura personalis, care for the whole person. Whether a student is seeking academic assistance, enrichment, or mentorship, Community Period ensures meaningful opportunities to receive personalized support and take ownership of their educational experience.
