Currently teaches Junior American Literature and Composition as well as Senior Creative Writing:  Short Story.  Born in Santa Clara, CA,  raised in Dallas, TX,  Ms. Zanotto returned to Auburn, CA at the beginning of high school.  She attended Saint Mary’s College of California from 1988-1992.  Directly after graduating, Ms. Zanotto entered the St. Mary’s College of California School of Education where she obtained her Single Subject Professional Clear California Teaching Credential that qualifies her to teach K-12.  Ms. Zanotto chose to teach high school English because literature always has something to teach students about life.  Ms. Zanotto taught for several years at St. Mary’s High School in Stockton,CA where she was the English Department Chairperson, the SMHS Forensics coach, Freshman Class adviser and instructed Freshmen and Sophomore English.  While teaching there, Ms. Zanotto obtained her Master of Education and a California Administrative Credential.   Ms. Zanotto began teaching at Jesuit High School in 2001.  When Ms. Zanotto is not grading papers, she is writing poetry, in the kitchen cooking, working in her garden, or attempting to work on her much beloved 66 Mustang convertible.
