Ignatian Carbon Challenge
Individual and Institutional Action for Environmental Justice
Jesuit High School invites students to join us in participating in the Ignatian Carbon Challenge.
From the Ignatian Solidarity Network, the organization sponsoring the Challenge:
Join high schools in the Ignatian network in bringing Laudato Si’to life in our classrooms and institutions. Created by a team of theology and science teachers, the Ignatian Carbon Challenge invites both individuals and institutions to address climate change and environmental justice through a series of monthly challenges.
Together, the Ignatian network has the opportunity to make more sustainable choices that create healthier individuals, communities, and a healthier planet.
Jesuit High School will be offering ways for students to participate in the Ignatian Carbon Challenge as individuals (through classes, clubs, or signing up here as individuals) and in actions at the institutional level.
Check out #iggycarbon on Twitter and Instagram to see how Jesuit-educated students around the country and world are deepening their commitments to environmental justice.
Stay turned to the Christian Service Google Classroom pages, the billboard outside of the Dean’s Office, and electronic ads around campus for more information and updates on how to participate.
