Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice
Application Available Now

General Information

The Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice (IFTJ) is an annual gathering for members of the Ignatian family to come together in the context of social justice and solidarity to learn, reflect, pray, network, and advocate together. This year, Jesuit High School will be sending a group of students to Washington, D.C., for the Teach-In (November 11-14).

This year’s keynote speakers include Fr. Greg Boyle, S.J.; Sr. Norma Pimentel, MJ; Lisa Sharon Harper; Fr. James Martin, S.J.; and Sr. Simone Campbell, SSS. We will learn about different issues of social justice, network with peers at other Jesuit institutions, and meet with our elected representatives on Capitol Hill. It is an exciting and challenging weekend.

The application is available to JHS students through this Google Form. Students must be signed into their student.jhs.net email account to access the application.

Feel free to email Ms. Brabec (sara.brabec@jesuithighschool.org) with any questions in advance of the meeting, or check out the IFTJ website for more information on this year’s speakers and events: http://ignatiansolidarity.net/iftj/.
