On Monday, the Marin Academy Wildcats visited Jesuit and likely wished they never made the trip. In the 9th minute Joey Afsari pulled it back from the end-line and found Jordan Anyimi to begin the scoring session. One minute later Anyimi cleaned up a bobbled ball by the keeper, and right after that Afsari got his own on a shot from way out. While the muddy conditions made passing problematic, the Marauders powered through scoring goals. With 18 minutes to go Michael Roush found Afsari on a through ball for a goal. Aaron Chou then stuck with it in the mud and got his first of the game, and then his second when he one-timed a pass from Afsari, bringing the store to 6-0 at half.  The second half was equally as fruitful for the JV Red. Alexander Maguire put his goal in off a deflected pass, and less than five minutes later put in a banger from outside the box. Soon after, Maguire then found Afsari on a skipping-through-the-mud cross. Jay Doherty made his first goal for Jesuit when he took it himself right up the middle, bringing the score to 10-0. While the Marauders started focusing on their crossing game, Anthony Alvarado’s dropped in for a goal. Alvarado then got his own goal when he connected on a Maguire cross. Ben Hewitt also got his first Jesuit goal from a cross from Harrison VonEsson. In the closing minutes, a distracted JV Red team inadvertently let in a goal, giving away the clean sheet. Davis is the Marauders’ next opponent on Friday.
