UPDATE: School Threat Not Jesuit Sacramento
8:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021
Dear Parents, Students, and Faculty / Staff,
Jesuit Sacramento Administration just received word from the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department by way of Homeland Security and the FBI that similar threats posted on social media have been occurring throughout multiple states in the country in recent days and appear not to be an isolated incident. Please review the attached article: https://www.wpbf.com/article/jupiter-high-school-shooting-threat-social-media-arrest/38076616
An arrest was recently made at Jupiter High School (JHS) in Florida. However, the investigation will remain open with Sacramento Sheriff’s Department which means they will continue to work on the case and provide their presence for our campus throughout some of the day.
While this update does provide some comfort, we ask that everyone remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity seen in person or on social media to the school administration or to the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department Non-Emergency line (916-874-5115). Jesuit High School Sacramento will remain open with all classes, meetings, and activities operating as normal.
