In the 8th minute Mac Carter came speeding onto a ball that was near a Lincoln defender near the Lincoln goal, and smacked a shot that the goalkeeper blocked out. The ball then went spinning out into the air by an erratic defense and Matthew Kahn finished it with a nice header in the air. In the 53rd minute some dedicated and hardworking Jesuit offense elicited a penalty kick, and Christian Honig stepped up to the spot and easily put one into the bottom right corner. Then in the 54th minute Julian Churchill laid a ball off to Jake L’Ecuyer in the midfield, who ran up a bit and hit a banger with the perfect height into the far corner of the goal. Final score: Jesuit 3, Lincoln 0. Overall this game wasn’t great or very clean from Jesuit, but the team handled business and was definitely efficient in the necessary areas. The team in yellow probably had much more possession but although Lincoln had some strong defense, Jesuit wasn’t super productive offensively. This game concluded Jesuit’s tournament at Del Campo.
