PSAT Administration for Current Juniors
REMINDER! Please register by Monday, November 16 at 4:00pm


The PSAT test will be offered at Jesuit on Tuesday, January 26 to interested current Junior year level students.  The PSAT is used as a qualifier for potential participation in the National Merit Scholarship Program and is also recommended for students as they prepare to take the SAT test in the Spring, Summer, or Fall of their senior year.  As mentioned in the weekly Staying Connected newsletter, school administration has modified the school calendar so that taking the exam will have no adverse impact on school attendance.  The exam will take place in the morning so students registering for the test should plan on blocking out a period of time from 7:30 a.m. arrival on campus to 12:30 p.m. departure.  

It is imperative that you complete the online registration form and pay for the exam by Monday, November 16 so we can submit our order in front of the registration deadline. 

PLEASE NOTE:  Only Junior test registrations will be considered.  If your son is not a Junior and is registered for the exam, we will automatically issue a refund.

Please note that due to Covid-19 and public health directives, we may not be able to administer this exam as planned.  In that case we will either work to reschedule the test administration at a later date if approved by CollegeBoard or will issue refunds of registration fees.

The registration window will open today and remain open through Monday, November 16th at 4:00pm.  This is the only testing date for the PSAT so we encourage all juniors to register.  Note that we will not be able to order late exams for this test administration.  Once students have registered and we have ordered exams, we will communicate more detailed information as the test date approaches.  

We continue to offer testing with accommodations for students who qualify and have been approved by the College Board.  The deadline for the Academic Support Center to submit documentation is December 7th.  Please be mindful that educational documentation submissions occur on normal school days; not during Thanksgiving and Christmas vacation.  Please continue to work directly with Mrs. Rose regarding accommodation submissions.  The link below offers additional guidance for parents.
