Dear “sun,”

I can’t believe we are at this point of your academics…I am in awe as I think back to all of the fun when driving to the freshmen year basketball games, everything in between to applying for college your senior year. I’m so very sorry that it was cut short…the silver lining for me was having more time with you and your brother. Taji, I have known most certainly that there would be wonderful opportunities in your future for the last 18 years, you have had that strong sense of determination that I knew you would be able to harness to receive all that you want and need in life. You have without knowing it created a great balance in your life with dividing play and work time even though some times that balance may have been a bit tilted. ;) You have always taken on opportunities to volunteer at school and responsibilities of being a “big brother” to your younger brothers at Jesuit. You have been dedicated to making the most of your years at JHS. As I cherish the past 3 months and the coming 2 months before you leave for college, I just feel so very blessed to be your mom.

I love you dearly “sun” and will always no matter what and unconditionally have your back for life.

xoxo

Love

Mom
