Whether you're stepping onto the field, working toward a personal best, or exploring a future in sports medicine, Jesuit provides the resources, expertise, and mentorship to help you succeed. From injury prevention and recovery to strength development and hands-on learning opportunities, our Sports Medicine & Training program is designed to support the whole athlete while preparing students for success far beyond competition.

Additionally, the Sports Medicine Intern Program offers a unique experience that merges instruction with hands-on practice. Interns can be seen on the field shadowing professional trainers and practicing skills such as taping, wrapping, and icing.

Helping Marauders perform, recover, and compete at their highest level

Working with Jesuit’s student-athletes on injury prevention and treatment allows me to see first–hand the passion and commitment they have for their sport and for their teams. It is inspiring to see how hard our student-athletes work to achieve their goals and how they support their teammates.

Working with the Athletic Department has given me an opportunity to use a non-traditional classroom setting to work with our students. It allows me to help create a culture that not only empowers them physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. Athletics creates a challenging and competitive environment, where lessons of overcoming and working through difficult situations can be taught. I love seeing the students learn these lessons to maximize their potential which allows them to create habits of striving to be the best versions of themselves on and off the field/track/court/pool/weight room.
