The Board of Trustees recently learned that Rev. David Suwalsky, S.J., President of Jesuit High School, has been asked by his Provincial to return to the Central and Southern Province (his home province). Fr. Suwalsky will move to the Midwest this summer. He plans to take a sabbatical and then move on to his next mission with the Society of Jesus.
As Vice President for Development at Jesuit High School, Marshall Sperbeck has responsibilities for Jesuit’s relationship to its nearly 9,700 alumni of the high school. He also works closely with the athletic and activities directors of Jesuit High School and with the Jesuit Boosters Club, a parent volunteer organization which support extra-curricular student activities at Jesuit.
A native of Sacramento, Sperbeck graduated from Valley High School. He later played at the University of Nevada from 1981-82 and led the team to a pair of winning seasons while throwing for 3,425 yards. Sperbeck earned a bachelor’s of science degree in physical education from Nevada in 1984 and later added a master’s of education from United States International in 1989.
Marshall and his wife, Kelle, have three children: Brooke, Thomas ‘13 and Ally.
