The Fr. Barry Gymnasium is home to Basketball, Volleyball, and
Wrestling. Built in 1967, the gymnasium can seat 1,200 for
sports games and rallies and 2,000 for events that include floor
seating.
The Jesuit Baseball facility is made up of three diamonds, one
for each of the 3 Jesuit Baseball teams. The Varsity Field
consists of a hybrid bermuda grass infield, equipped with a timed
sprinkler system for the grass areas and a 2 inch firehose to
water the dirt areas. The infield is a clay, cinder mix that also
has sand to increase the drainage capabilities. An 8 foot chain
link fence, with green slats, surrounds the outfield and
decomposed granite warning track.
In the summer of 2006, Jesuit High School opened the new Student
Athletic Center. This building houses a Varsity Team Locker
Room, P.E./J.V. Locker Room, state-of-the-art weight room,
training room, administrative offices, coaches offices/locker
room facility, meeting room space, and a conference room.
