Timothy Kelly was born and raised in Stockton, CA. He graduated from Saint Mary’s High School in 1997. Timothy attended University of California at Davis where he double majored in History and Political Science. 

Timothy has been teaching Social Science at Jesuit High School since 2004. He currently teaches the freshman Global Studies Class. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Timothy is also the Assistant Dean of Students. 

Timothy is also a coach in the basketball program.

Global Studies is a survey of the culture and land of non-Western regions of the world.  It is designed to broaden our perspectives as world citizens.  We will examine the culture, history, politics, economics, and social systems of Africa, East Asia (India, China, and Japan), Latin America, and the Middle East.  We will place special emphasis on identifying similarities and differences in these cultures, recognizing ethnocentric world views and understanding the impact of these cultures on the United States and visa versa.

Jesuit High School is committed to helping young men achieve their potential academically, athletically, socially and spiritually. In order to achieve this goal, Jesuit believes a disciplined and structured atmosphere is necessary. The purpose of discipline, then, is to maintain an environment where students can achieve their potential in an honest and caring manner. Our goal is that these students grow to become “men for others.”
