Camp ReCreation is a residential summer camp with year-round events designed for individuals with developmental disabilities, offering participants opportunities for fun, social interaction, and spiritual growth while providing valuable respite for parents and caregivers.  It is accredited by the American Camp Association under the patronage of the Catholic Diocese of Sacramento for more than 30 years.

Camp ReCreation serves children, teens and adults (ages 10-65+) with developmental disabilities. The program is held at Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake.  Camp is staffed entirely by volunteers, with a 1:1 camper-to-counselor ratio.  There are three weeks of camp – If selected you’ll serve as a counselor for one of the following weeks:  June 10-17, June 17-24, June 24-July 1.

Transportation for volunteers to and from camp is provided. All volunteers are expected to ride the bus to and from camp. All departures and returns will take place at a location to be determined and announced at the training.
