The baseball program at Jesuit High School exists to provide the prospective student-athlete with a well-rounded high school experience. Athletics are an integral part of the overall educational philosophy at Jesuit High School. The diamond is no different from the classroom, the laboratory, or lecture hall. Baseball at the high school level is a learning experience- a chance to mature through self-discipline, competition, sportsmanship, achievement and failure. Success and failure are not necessarily quantified in terms of wins, league titles, or section championships. The valid measure of success is the realization of one’s full potential by using his God-given abilities to their fullest. The truly enriching Jesuit baseball experience is one that will carry over into all other dimensions of development; academic, social, and spiritual.
