On December 12th the Davis JV team came to play the JV Gold Soccer team. The Marauders looked strong from the first whistle, playing their game, and maintaining possession in the attacking half of the field. Jesuit had many chances to score, including a rocket off the post, but unfortunately couldn’t capitalize. With twelve minutes to go in the first half, Davis scored on their very first shot of the game. Keeper Stephens came out and made a great save, but the deflection took a lucky bounce and landed at the feet of a Davis player. The second half was a bit more evenly played, and in the last ten minutes Jesuit had ample opportunity to score, but just couldn’t make it happen. Final score Jesuit: 0- Davis JV: 1.
