Dear Friends of Jesuit High School Sacramento:
The dictionary defines resilient as: 1) the ability to be happy, successful, etc., again after something difficult or bad has happened; 2) the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness; 3) the ability to respond, absorb, and adapt to, as well as recover in a disruptive event.
Art Event Is a Masterpiece
In late October 2020, Jesuit brought the beloved Art Event back to campus. The event included curated pieces from 12 local artists including Mark Bowles, Pat Mahony, Leslie Toms, and our very own Ed Novinsky. Patrons perused and purchased the artwork in small groups, private viewings and online. The event was a huge success, supporting both Jesuit High School and local Sacramento artists.

“My favorite memory from playing basketball at Jesuit High School has been practice. After every school day I would take the same walk to pick up my things from the car and head straight to the gym. This is where I was able to find peace after a long day at school. The joy from competing and being around your teammates is something I will never forget.”

Traditions Continue Amidst Restrictions
Fall Drama, “Show. (And Tell.)
Items from the Museum of Lost Things”
Never one to see the lights go out on a production, the Jesuit Drama Fall 2020 original play adapted to become virtual. “Show. (And Tell): Items from the Museum of Lost Things” premiered in November, keeping alive the 50-plus year tradition of actors from Jesuit and St. Francis High Schools coming together “on stage.”
The President’s Report serves as Jesuit High School’s Annual report and was compiled by the Office of Advancement to be used only for the information of Jesuit High School’s alumni, parents, and friends. The President’s Report lists all new gifts and commitments to Jesuit for the fiscal year from July 1 to June 30. (For example, the President’s Report mailed in 2020 will reflect gifts from July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020.)
