Connecting to the Student Eye

As the academic year drew to a close, the frothy squalls of homework gave way to the calm blue of exam books and now to summer skies. As the Summer season progresses, it is a wonderful time to view what the students’ artistic eyes have seen. Their art, prose, photography, and poetry can connect one to calm and quiet reflection.

AP Capstone

As the 2021-2022 school year came to a close with the closest-to-normal cycle of AP and final exams, a small handful of students completed one of the steps in the AP Capstone program. And heading into Jesuit’s fourth academic year with the College Board’s two-year elective program, students looking for a way to challenge themselves and showcase their interest in various academic fields will have the benefit of many students paving the way before them, whether on Zoom or in person.

Helping Future Marauders

The cornerstone of Jesuit’s mission is following the teachings of St. Ignatius that no qualified student should be denied a Jesuit education because of financial need. With the rising costs of private education, there are students across the greater Sacramento region who cannot afford the opportunity to become part of “The Brotherhood.” To ensure these deserving young men are given the opportunity to receive the Jesuit education they desire, Jesuit President Rev. John P.

The President’s Report serves as Jesuit High School’s Annual report and was compiled by the Office of Advancement to be used only for the information of Jesuit High School’s alumni, parents, and friends. The President’s Report lists all new gifts and commitments to Jesuit for the fiscal year from July 1 to June 30. (For example, the most recent President’s Report reflects gifts from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023.)
