Celebrating our Seniors 

GRADUATION COUNTDOWN!  Students and families -  please be sure to read each ‘event’ closely for important information on ticketing, arrival, seating, attire, and more.

Our sincere desire is to honor the members of the Senior class and their families as they conclude their four years at Jesuit High School Sacramento. This special section will hold all updates and plans for your senior experience—from the time you take your senior portrait until you walk across the stage. #AMDG #Marauder4Life

Event Barry Gym

Graduation/Baccalaureate Rehearsal & BBQ
Save the date - mandatory event for Class of 2022

Seniors check-in in the Gym. Cap and Gown packages will be handed out at rehearsal. A formal portrait of the Class of 2022 will be taken after the rehearsal.

What to wear/bring

Students must come in formal dress attire and be clean-shaven. Students may bring a change of clothes for the Booster BBQ following the rehearsal.

Event Memorial Auditorium

Baccalaureate Mass
Baccalaureate Eucharistic Liturgy

Baccalaureate Mass does not require a ticket for entry. 

Attire

Graduate

  • Dress attire (shoes, dark dress socks, dress slacks, shirt, tie)
  • Clean-shaven
  • Graduation gown on top of dress attire (no cap or HNS, CSF cords allowed for Mass)
  • Only Kairos crosses/pins (no other decorations)

Seating & Entrance

There are no balloons, inflatable pool toys, banners, air horns, etc. permitted inside Memorial Auditorium. These items would obscure the view of our guests and be disruptive to the formality of the event.

Timing

The Baccalaureate Ceremony will run approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Graduate Arrival/Check-in at 6:00 pm

Graduates must arrive at 6:00 pm in order to be checked in at the front doors of Memorial Auditorium in a separate line for students. 

Doors Open/Ceremony Start

Doors will open for seating at 6:00 pm. The Mass will begin promptly at 7:30 pm, and doors will close 5 minutes prior to the start. No ticket is required for entry.

Seating

We ask that you take your seats only when your entire party is present inside Memorial Auditorium. Saving seats is not permitted – your cooperation with this policy is appreciated. Your patience is requested as the ushers assist the elderly and handicapped with special seating. 

We ask that you please cooperate with the volunteers in the Auditorium who are directing the flow of people. They are giving their time to make this event more pleasant for all. 

Late Seating

Guests who arrive after 7:25 pm will need to wait until the procession has finished before taking their seats.

Safety

Uniformed officers from Sacramento Police Department and PAL America security officers will be on hand at Memorial for each event. They will work in conjunction with Memorial Auditorium to ensure the safety and success of our events.

Jesuit will be videotaping the Graduation, and a link to that video will be emailed to parents when it becomes available. Access to the video is complimentary.

56th Commencement Exercises

You must have an official ticket to attend this event. 

Tickets

 10 tickets per student 

Each graduate will receive 10 tickets for the Commencement Ceremony. Ticket packets have been available for Seniors to pick up on campus since early May. If you have not yet collected your tickets, please have your student pick them up from the Main Office. Any guest 2 years and older will need a ticket.

Grad Attire

Download the Full Waiver Packet - includes Behavior Agreement and both Waivers (minors and 18+, please select the waiver that applies to student) Please print, sign, and turn in Behavior Agreement and Waiver on May 19 to the Dean’s Office.  Any graduate who has not turned in his forms will not be admitted to the event.

Seniors and Senior Parents - Report your awarded scholarships!

Jesuit High School encourages you and your family to report all awarded scholarships for college.

It is our expectation that all students/families report ALL of their awarded scholarships, whether you plan to use the awarded scholarship or not. This includes scholarships to all institutions, private scholarships, essay contests, etc. Please enter the full amount of the award, and note if it is a multi-year award or a one-year annual amount. Dollar amounts are used only for internal reporting purposes.
