The JV REDS final game was played at home, and the Marauders hoped to avenge their previous loss. Jesuit came out on the defensive, and never seemed to fall into their rhythm of play. Keeper Ian Menz was taken out early in the game on a questionable no-call. Franklin had many more opportunities in the first half, as Jesuit just wasn’t putting any shots up. The Wildcats put one in and were leading 1-0 at halftime. The Marauders played with a little more urgency in the second half, and after a handball in the penalty area, were awarded a PK. Joey Afsari buried it and brought the score even. While Jesuit was putting more pressure offensively late in the second half, shots just weren’t being generated.  The game ended in a tie. The JV Reds had a great season this year, with a final record of   12 wins – 2 losses – 3 ties.
