On a windy Saturday afternoon, the El Camino Eagles JV team hosted the visiting JV Red Soccer team.  Nine minutes in Matthew Kahn tapped in a keeper deflection. In quick succession Chris Meyers dribbled though traffic and dumped it to Cole Barrett who redirected it in. Barrett then converts on another keeper deflection. Barrett was not done though, and set up Elijah Beverly’s goal. With 4 minutes to go in the half Jacob Wong’s cross found Gustavo Levenfeld. Joseph Asfari scored right after that from a low shot outside the box. Just before halftime defender Jack Maguire crossed it into Asfari, who brought the score to 6-0 at half. The JV Red weren’t done as Cal Kincaid scored a highlight-reel worthy goal from the defense. One minute later Barrett found Beverly again. 8-0. Asfari then had a “banger” himself with 25 minutes to go from outside the box. In the last 14 minutes, Levenfeld scored in some chaos, Meyers had a bar-down rocket, and Maguire got one for himself when he popped it up to himself and fired it in.  Final score on this cold and blustery night: JESUIT 13. EL CAMINO 0.
