The JV Red Soccer team hit the road to Marin Academy early Saturday morning. Just two minutes into the game, Chris Meyers scored on a free kick and blasted a goal into the upper left corner of the net. Jacob Wong sent a long pass down the left sideline finding Elijah Beverley who scored off his own deflection in the 10th minute of the first half. Just one minute later, Cole Barrett made the score 3-0 burying a nice cross from Cooper McGrail. The Marauders controlled the possession for the next few minutes before Meyers scored his second goal of the day from a Matt Kahn assist. The score was 4-0 at half. In the 46th minute, Demetri Petuskey scored off a deflected shot. In the 50th minute the Wildcats had their best chance of the day to get on the board after being awarded a penalty kick. Jesuit goalkeeper Jack Clark dove to his left for an excellent save and preserved the shutout. The last goal of the day occurred in the 61st minute when Chris Meyers’ shot hit a defender and crossed the line. The Marauders enjoyed a 6-0 victory.
