Letters of recommendation are an important part of many university applications. Counselors write letters of recommendation for each student who indicates that he will apply through the Common Application or another application portal for private and out-of-state universities. Students must inform counselors of their intent to apply to a private and out-of-state university in a timely manner (please refer to the application request deadline grid below). Seniors must turn in their College Document Request Form with the required documents submitted to Naviance Student (the Student Brag Sheet, Parent Brag Sheet, Resume) before a counselor may begin working on their college application documents. 

We will not be using Naviance for requesting letters of recommendation. Please use the Common App to request a letter of recommendation or the platform required by the private and or public university application(s).

Students whose applications require a letter of recommendation from a teacher must also request those letters directly from their prospective teachers by the same deadline.
