All parents are invited to attend our annual Back-to-School Night from 6:30-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27.
A message from the Principal about Back-to-School Night
One of our goals for this school year is to be more intentional about sharing and promoting our Ignatian identity within our parent community. This identity is rooted in the vision of St. Ignatius of Loyola and is the foundation for how we form your sons. One of the ways we will do this is to invite you to a parent session in the gym prior to meeting your sons’ teachers at Back-to-School Night on August 27. We will use the event to review and explain our desired outcomes for Jesuit High School students. These outcomes, what we call the Grad-at-Grad, will be presented through a multimedia presentation including student, teacher, and staff testimonials. I am excited to invite you more deeply into our mission and identity. I am also excited that we have AC in the gym for the first time!
Following the parent session, Back to School Night will begin with parents reporting directly to their son’s Period 1 class. We will begin at approximately 7:00 pm. To avoid long lines in the Harris Center, please print a copy of your son’s schedule (it will be emailed to you, along with a campus map.) If you are unable to print your son’s schedule, we will have copies in the Harris Center. Carpooling with other parents is strongly encouraged since parking is a major challenge for this event.
I look forward to seeing all our Jesuit families,
Mike Wood ‘99, Principal
