An exercise in refugee awareness hosted by the Office of Service & Justice

Event

Please join the Office of Service & Justice on campus Wednesday, March 24,1:00 PM for an optional on-campus program called “Walk a Mile in My Shoes”. This is an opportunity to allow our community to pause and consider some of the experiences, including the frustration, disappointments, and hopes, that refugees around the world face daily. It is a structured exercise (laid out by Jesuit Refugee Services, or JRS) in which individuals move through different stations to learn more about the journeys that refugees around the world take to find safety.

Register Now

Registration closes Friday, March 19, 2021.

Students who participate in the event (and answer a set of reflection questions after) will receive 2.5 hours of Service & Justice credit.
