John Flynn ’98
Social Science Department Chair / AP Economics
Born in New York, but raised in Sacramento; Mr. Flynn graduated Jesuit High School in 1998, and currently teaches A.P. Economics and serves as the Department Chair for the Social Studies Department. He previously coached High School Football for 20 years; and began his career as a professional Ignatian Educator in 2005 working at Jesuit High School in Portland, Oregon serving as Associate Athletics Director (Sports Illustrated named Jesuit-PDX first in the nation in 2007 and 2010) , Student Activities Director (Oregonian Cup Winners 2005-2014), and on the Campus Ministry Retreat Team.
