After defeating Sheldon High School 47-13, the Jesuit High School Marauders look to take their momentum into their next game against the Pleasant Grove High School Eagles this Saturday, Nov. 2.

Kicker Gabe Neumann ’20 acknowledges that the team has some things to improve on after their win over Sheldon.

“[We need to] tighten some things up on defense, and do better on the pass,” Gabe said. “I expect that we come out swinging and knock [PGHS] in the mouth.”

With Jesuit holding a 4-5 record, the game is essentially a must win for the team as a loss would likely end any chance the Marauders have at making the playoffs.

Tight end and defensive end Kaleki Latu ’21 expressed how every player should play this game with passion.

“Our team, this game needs to put full effort into every play,” Kaleki said. “For the seniors, this game might be their last.”

Aside from the game, Jesuit’s Scout and Film Coordinator Coach Jonathan Isaac hopes the seniors enjoy themselves on their Senior Day.

“My expectations are for our seniors to be excited and sentimental playing on Senior Day,” Coach Isaac said. “I expect our underclassmen to support these seniors with their enthusiasm and camaraderie.”
The game is at Jesuit, and kickoff is 2:00 p.m. Come out and support the Marauders as they take on the Eagles.
