Under the guidance of Mrs. Barnes, students have an option to complete their Senior Christian Service Course during June.  Following a meeting in mid-March to discuss site placement options, the class will begin with orientation on Sunday evening, June 12.  Rather than a traditional Summer course that requires attending class on campus, students will volunteer daily at local, non-profit agencies with whom Jesuit High School has built strong partnerships.  Once each week the class will come together on campus to explore service-related topics and reflect on the experience of selfless giving.  Students will write one brief reflection paper for each week of the course, which concludes on Friday, July 1. Successful completion of this course fulfills the Senior Christian Service requirement for graduation.
