July 1 – July 19: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

This course is designed for students who have completed a full year Algebra I course but need additional instruction in preparation for taking an accelerated or honors level course at Jesuit. Students will be assessed on a weekly basis and will take an exam similar in content and rigor to the year-end final exam in Algebra 1(XL).

JESUIT STUDENTS: Incoming freshmen may not register for this class without Department Approval. This course is aimed at incoming freshmen who require reinforcement of Algebra I skills in order to advance into Geometry that Fall. Permission to take this course is based upon the results of the Math challenge tests administered in April.

Cost: $400 plus $50 registration fee

Jesuit High School is offering a one-week college application course for rising Jesuit seniors.

This is a small class setting of 7:1, which means that each student will receive extensive instruction on tasks such as developing an individualized college application list, creating and refining a personal statement, navigating the college application process at JHS, filling out the Common App as well as going over the UC/CSU and other University Applications.

This course will guide and help each student in understanding every stage of the college application process. At the end of this workshop, students will have the potential to have most of the college application process completed. (There are a limited number of seats in this course.)

Pre-requisite: Current Jesuit student entering 12th grade in the fall of 2024

Cost: $250 plus $50 registration fee
