Tutoring Coordinator / Academic Support Center Support
2025-2026 Year
Jesuit High School, Sacramento, is accepting applications for a Tutoring Coordinator/Academic Support Center Staff for the school year, until filled.
Overview
Jesuit High School’s Academic Support Center (ASC) provides additional support for students with diagnosed learning differences and/or ADHD, often in the form of the student attending a scheduled class period in the center to work on homework, study for quizzes and tests, and develop organizational skills and habits. Additionally, students on Academic Probation (who may or may not have diagnoses of learning differences or ADHD) require support and access to a tutor/mentor to help improve their subject knowledge and study skills/habits. The Tutoring Coordinator works with the other ASC staff to provide tutoring, tracking, and monitoring of student progress throughout the school day for both students enrolled in the ASC and in the Library. The Tutoring Coordinator is the primary tutor for math and science, but develops and maintains a team of qualified peer tutors for these and all other subjects as they are available. The Tutoring Coordinator will communicate with parents and teachers as needed to follow-up regarding student academic skills, trends, and assignments.
