Students, faculty, and staff will be gathering to celebrate the Mass for the New Year at 10:45 am on Friday, Jan. 24 in the Barry Gym. Parents, family, and alumni are welcome to attend.

Students are required to be in dress attire for this all-school liturgy.

California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is an honors organization that recognizes students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.

Fall Semester members must reapply. Membership has academic qualifications – see the application for details. A grade report must be submitted with the application. Drop off applications in GP206. Email any questions to Mrs. Brown at judi.brown@jesuithighschool.org.

What to Expect & How to Prepare

Greetings, junior parents!

As hard as it is to believe, the start of the spring semester also marks the beginning of class registration for the 2026–2027 school year. Because senior schedules are often the most complex—and the most likely to involve alternates, conflicts, or follow-up conversations—we’re beginning this process with the Class of 2027 next week.

This year’s process looks a little different, so I want to take a moment to explain how it works, what’s changing, and how we can best partner together to support your student.

Father/Son Mass & Reception

Link to RSVP will be posted closer to the event date

Enter the month of February by celebrating the bond of father and son. Fathers, step-fathers, grandfathers, and father figures are invited to pray together at a Mass with their sons.

Join us in the Chapel at 10:00 am.

The Loyola Guild and Campus Ministry will generously offer coffee and pastries at a reception following the Mass.

Parents of sophomores and juniors are encouraged to watch this recorded webinar that reviews the college application process from beginning to end and the individualized college counseling program provided by Jesuit High School. Topics include the college search, Naviance Student tools and data, college testing, explanation of the various application types and platforms, paying for college and more.

Optional pre-session for those interested in taking AP classes next year

Watch the pre-session if your son is interested in taking AP courses next year. Presented by Colin O’Connor, Assistant Principal for Academics. The presentation focused on basic information about Jesuit’s advanced courses, the philosophy behind offering these courses, work expectations, and balancing the demands of these courses with co-curricular after-school activities. Hopefully, this information will prove helpful in your son’s decision-making for the 2026-2027 school year courses.
