Dia De Los Muertos Display in Library
Bring photos to Jogues 205 through Oct / Visit during Nov

The World Languages Department and Latinos Unidos are curating a Dia De Los Muertos display in the Library. To remember and/or celebrate a loved one, students may bring a photo to Jogues 205 by November 1, for inclusion. Students may visit the display in November!

November is a time of remembrance - share names of loved ones who have died to be included in our prayers

The Church encourages the faithful to dedicate the month of November as a time of remembrance for our dear ones who have died. Let us give thanks for their presence in our lives and offer grateful prayers to our loving God, who has given us everything that is good. Beginning on the Feast of All Saints on November 1, and then each day after in the month of November, we wish to remember our beloved dead in the masses and prayers offered by the Jesuit High School community.

Sac State Application Workshop

The Counseling Center will be hosting a CSU Application Workshop with an admissions representative from Sac State on Friday, October 31. The admissions representative will be offering on the spot admissions to Sac State for qualified applicants! Seniors interested in participating in this opportunity, please make sure that you have a form of payment to complete the application (such as a credit card), your Social Security number, and your unofficial transcript.

The Tryout Info sheet includes all the information you need to know if your student wants to try out for Frosh Basketball, including an athlete questionnaire. It will help you plan your calendar, gain insight into the basketball program, and avoid scheduling conflicts if possible. All players must try out for the team.

Session includes the gown photo used in the yearbook

Throughout summer and fall, Bill Smith will be sending out notifications to book senior portraits. Please note the deadline to have your Senior Portrait included in the school yearbook is November 1. Click on the link to access Bill Smith Photography’s Jesuit Senior Portrait page, select your studio, and select your photography option for your pictures. We recommend allowing plenty of time as appointments can fill up closer to the deadline.

Learn about opportunities for Summer 2026

RSVP to Immersion Night

Join us in the Welcome Center to learn about the opportunities for Immersion 2026 and review the application process. This is an information session for current juniors and sophomores and their parents/guardians who wish to participate in immersions next summer. Enjoy a simple meal and listen to the experiences of last year’s participants while learning about the many different trips and communities students engage with.

Community Garden Work Day
Plant, clean, rake...let's give our garden a fall refresh

Join us at a JHS Community Garden Work Day on the first Saturday of the month in front of the baseball field. Parents can earn volunteer hours while helping in the garden. Students may also earn non-core volunteer hours. Come grow with us!
