After a long stretch of away games, the JV Red Soccer team was back home on Thursday, January 18^th to face Franklin. In the 9^th minute Cole Barrett was fouled on a breakaway and made his PK look easy. Three minutes later, Elijah Beverly cleaned up a deflected shot and made it 2-0. Just before half, Zach Lozano sprinted down the sideline and sent a great ball into the box- right to Barrett who redirected it into the net. Early in the second half Beverly got his second goal off a corner kick from Demetri Petuskey. Barrett then dribbled the ball at full speed, unassisted and slotted one in. Barrett scored his third goal shortly thereafter off a long through ball from Sean Burke. Jack Maguire brought the score to 7-0 timing his run through the mud to put in a ball from Aiden Baker. Maguire then set up Vincent Micheli on a corner kick for his first goal of the season. Final score JV RED 8- FRANKLIN 0.
