On January 16th, the JV Red Soccer team was in Elk Grove facing Sheldon. The Marauders struck early and often. In the 7th minute Cole Barrett put in a PK. Two minutes later, Elijah Beverly put in his own second effort after the keeper made a block. In minutes 15-20, Chris Meyers got a hat trick with an assist each from Barrett and Julian Churchill.  Sheldon was still fighting, and while keeper Pace Walder made a great save, someone was there for the rebound, bringing the score 5-1. Two minutes later, Sheldon’s keeper made a save and Aiden Baker was there to poke it in. Baker struck again two minutes later off a nice pass from Connor Moss. 7-1 Jesuit at halftime. Just into the second half, Beverly scored off a Churchill corner, and then scored again off a long through ball from Lucas English.  In the 51st minute, Meyers found Churchill for a goal, Baker scored again and defender Sean Burke came up with a goal. Sheldon was able to capitalize on a Jesuit defensive mistake,  bringing the score to 12-2. In the final few minutes of the game, Lucca Arcolino and Lucas English added to the score, bringing it to 14-2 final.
