On Tuesday, December 19^th the JV Red Soccer team wasted no time scoring against visiting West Campus as Chris Meyers found Matthew Kahn in the 3^rd minute of the game.  Kahn then scored two minutes later off a keeper deflection.  Meyers got a goal  for himself off a pass from Kahn shortly thereafter.  The boys relaxed a bit too much and West Campus was able to put two goals in the net in short order. Cole Barrett’s corner in the 27^th minute found Elijah Beverly’s head for a nice goal. And right before half, Jacob Wong’s cross deflected off a defender for a Jesuit goal. The Marauders started the second half strong, with Barrett scoring unassisted to start the second half. Five minutes later, West Campus, still not giving up, scored again. Barrett then found Beverly again in traffic with a well-placed through ball.  Jesuit’s final goal was the third goal for Kahn, (a hat trick) as he put in a beautiful flying header off a Zack Lozano cross. Final score Jesuit 8 West Campus 3.
