Information

Sister Thea Bowman (of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration) spent her life’s work as a professor, a writer and a gospel singer.  Her life was one full of gospel joy, enduring faith and persevering prayer even in the midst of racial prejudice, cultural insensitivity and debilitating illness.  And so, we thought it fitting to honor her work with our justice series.
