Juniors at Jesuit High School attend an overnight retreat that encourages each student to view the decisions they make in the context of their personal ideals and values, the effects their choices have on their relationships, and the direction in which God is calling them to proceed. Through small group discussions, testimonies given from members of the Jesuit Senior Retreat Team, and reflection on scripture, each Junior is challenged to allow their decision making to be influenced by their faith and understanding of who God uniquely created them to be. On the first day of their retreat, students depart Jesuit High School for Christ the King Retreat Center in Citrus Heights at 5:30 pm and return to Jesuit High School on the second day by 3:00 pm. Students will be given their retreat date assignment in their theology class.
