Introducing Jesuit’s New Admissions Preview Day Experience
Preview Days will be offered for 8th-grade girls and boys on Wednesdays from September through January
Jesuit High School Sacramento is excited to introduce a new Preview Day experience for prospective students, replacing our traditional Shadow Day program. Designed for 8th-grade students, Preview Day will offer an authentic, engaging, and meaningful opportunity to experience Jesuit while providing an introduction to student life in the Girls Division or Boys Division.
During a Preview Day, students will step into the energy of campus life by attending freshman-level classes, meeting current students and faculty, touring our 53-acre campus, and sharing lunch with members of our school community.
Along the way, they will experience the distinctive balance of single-sex learning within a vibrant, collaborative school community and see how the Girls Division and Boys Division will come together as part of one Jesuit experience.
Beginning this fall, Preview Days will be offered for 8th-grade girls and boys on Wednesdays from September through January, giving students and families multiple opportunities to experience life at Jesuit throughout the admissions season.
In addition to opportunities for middle school students, new campus visit experiences, including Preview Day-style events, will be available throughout the fall specifically for girls and boys interested in transferring into grades 10 and 11, offering these students and their families a chance to learn more about academic programs, athletics and the arts, student life, and the unique benefits of Jesuit’s co-divisional model.
And, of course, don’t miss our hugely popular, informative, and exciting Open House on Sunday, October 18, from 12:00–3:00 p.m. All ages and grade levels are welcome to attend Jesuit’s Open House, which activates the entire campus, classrooms, and facilities. Those students and families interested in applying for the 2027–2028 school year in grades 9, 10, or 11 will find the event especially informative. Our faculty, staff, students, and coaches can’t wait to welcome you to campus, showcase the many opportunities available at Jesuit, provide information about how to apply and the financial aid program, and share all that makes our 53-acre campus such a special place to learn, grow, and belong.
Preview Days and Open House are designed to help students envision themselves at Jesuit, explore our academic and extracurricular opportunities, and gain a firsthand understanding of the mission-driven education that prepares students for success in college and beyond. As we prepare to welcome both young men and young women, these experiences represent an exciting opportunity to share the full Jesuit story with prospective families.
