Description
Start taking the best possible photos on your mobile devices by
learning how to see the world around you as a photographer does.
You will learn how to search out the best lighting and subjects
for your photos and create narratives within your frame. This
digital course will cover the rules of composition, mobile
editing, and how to best showcase your finished product. This
course will prove that photography is not always about having the
fanciest equipment, but about having the best technique.
Tech requirements for photos: mobile device or tablet
that can take photos and also download the free Adobe Lightroom
app.

Rocklin native Katherine Madden holds a Ph.D. in Critical Studies
from the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern
California. She also holds an M.A. in Critical Studies from the
University of Southern California and a B.A. in Film and Media
Studies with a minor in Education from the University of
California at Irvine.
Dr. Madden joined the Jesuit High School faculty in 2016 and
teaches Digital Photography, Digital Filmmaking, and Art of Film.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, photography, and most of
all, spending time with her husband, son, parents, and her three
older brothers and their families.
