Anthony Stouder ’26 has spent his time at Jesuit High School Sacramento building connections, exploring new opportunities, and helping others feel welcome in the community. From athletics to clubs, he has focused on growing as a person while helping those around him find their place in the community.

“I’ve been working on becoming a well-rounded person,” Anthony said. “I’ve been trying to get involved in a bunch of different kinds of things […] because there is so much Jesuit has to offer.”

Anthony entered the golf program as a freshman and earned his spot on varsity, quickly learning the value of support from older teammates.

“I was the only freshman on the varsity golf team, but the community really took me in, and the seniors did a lot to help me out that year,” Anthony said. “Now, as captain, I try to do the same for the freshmen and sophomores or anyone new to the team.”

These experiences have shaped how Anthony approaches leadership.

“I’d say my responsibility as a leader is creating opportunities for other people at Jesuit so that everyone can be a part of something that they want to be a part of,” Anthony said. “I just want to continue making that available for the younger classmen, for the next generation of Jesuit.”

Faculty members have noticed how Anthony makes the most of the opportunities he creates.

“He’s somebody that definitely took advantage of what Jesuit has to offer and got the most out of it,” said Director of Admissions Matthew Ramos ’05. “He’s an upstanding young man who definitely is passionate and cares as a true ‘Man for Others’ through and through. Anthony is definitely a great example of what it means to be a Marauder and to be a student here at Jesuit.”

Peers also see the example he sets for younger students.

“Anthony is confident, tenacious, and steadfast,” said Aidan Clough ’26. “He guides younger students and shows them what it really means to be a ‘Man for Others.”

Anthony hopes his impact will be remembered for the support and guidance he offered others.

“I’d like to be remembered as someone who helped people who were either just starting at the school or hadn’t found their people yet,” Anthony said. “I want to make sure they can get the full Jesuit experience and be happy and thrive here.”
