Jesuit High School Sacramento’s Varsity Volleyball team had an incredible regular season, finishing with a record of 28-5 and a perfect 14-0 record in Sierra Foothill League play. These results have led to the team being the number one seed in the San-Joaquin Section for playoffs, and being ranked top 25 nationally, as well as top 15 in California.

The team began the season on a tear, winning 15 out of their first 16 games including big victories over Bullard High School Knights, another top 25 nationally ranked team. The Marauders also won Holy Court over rival Christian Brothers High School Falcons. They also swept Oakridge High School Trojans, the second best team – by record – in the SFL.

Jesuit also went to multiple tournaments that featured many of the best teams in the country. The team took a trip to Hawaii for a tournament where they played the No. 2 team in the country, Huntington Beach High School, losing two sets to one. They also played the No. 19 team in the country Punahou High School. The team was battle tested for a deep run into the playoffs.

Jesuit began their run for a section title with a clean sweep of Turlock High School in the first round at home winning 3 sets to none. This victory then set up a matchup against Folsom High School where they defeated the Bulldogs 3 sets to 1 setting up a semifinal matchup against West Park High School on May 6th.
