Applications for counselors for the Summer 2022 sessions of Camp ReCreation are now available. Camp Rec is in great need of male counselors for this summer’s program, as they bring back their in-person, overnight camp program for the first time since the start of the pandemic. This is a phenomenal program and a great way for students to complete service.

The dates for camp sessions this summer are: June 11-18; June 18-25; June 25-July 2.

All leaders must be 16 by the time camp starts, and must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 

Camp Rec has been serving people with developmental disabilities since 1983. Each year, Camp ReCreation provides a residential summer camp program and engaging year-round activities for its participants to inspire fun, friendship, social interaction and spiritual growth – all while creating valuable respite for parents and caregivers. Camp ReCreation also strives to increase the awareness and acceptance of persons with developmental disabilities in the greater community. Camp ReCreation is under the patronage of the Diocese of Sacramento and supported by the Knights of Columbus and many other generous individuals and organizations.
