Jesuit High School (JHS) is a Sacramento regional Catholic high school that provides young men with a life-building experience. Job Summary/Responsibilities:

Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment; i.e. small tractor, lawn mower, rototiller, chain saw, power hedge trimer and basic gardening hand tools

Maintains sprinkler system is operational

Prepares athletic fields for various sporting events; i.e. artificial turf maintenance and lining fields

Assist with event setups and breakdown

Maintain grass, plant beds and week control

Education and Experience

1-2 years related landscaping maintenance experience with ability to work under limited supervision.  Knowledge and experience in working with fertilizers, seeds and soils.  Ability to read and follow all mixing and safety labels.  Familiarity with applicable city/county codes and fire, health and safety standards.
